Hello friends, happy update day!! We have a very exciting gameplay update coming out today, the Taskboard! Some of you may have already played it in the Test Lab last year, and we’re so excited to finally bring it to the game! Here's everything 🥰
Taskboard’s daily tasks range in difficulty with different rewards - from Bucks to the new RGB boxes, which are filled with toys and pets in the brand new RGB theme! 🏳️🌈
Daily Tasks 📆
- One task appears in the Taskboard per day, but remember - there are tasks you won’t always be able to do that day! You can keep up to 7 tasks on your board, making progress on them whenever you’re playing Adopt Me. Once you have 7 tasks on your board, new tasks will stop appearing. You can use the reroll 🔂 button next to your task if you want to replace it with a new task. New tasks will appear 24 hours after you claimed your last task - if you don't log in, you won't get a new task!
Hot Tasks 🔥
- You unlock harder tasks when completing tasks, and while playing! The more tasks you complete, the more Hot Tasks you’ll unlock to appear in your Taskboard. Hot tasks always reward the player with RGB boxes - you can get multiple boxes from the tasks that take the longest time to complete! It’s good to hold on to the harder tasks, even if you can’t complete them just yet.
RGB Items 🌈
- We’re so excited to finally share the RGB items with everyone! These themed items hold a very special place in our gamer hearts, so we hope you love them as much as we do. New toys, pet wear, vehicles, and even legendary pets Chameleon and Squid! 🦑
Seasonal Events 🌴
- As you may have noticed, the Taskboard now takes a permanent place on the left side of your screens, which is where we usually put Event reminders/countdowns/icons. From now on, some updates will be included in the Taskboard! This could be themed tasks or just a visual reminder.
This update also adds extra steps to the tutorial at the start of the game! If you’re a new player or want to introduce your friend to Adopt Me, this will be very helpful to get started.
