#UPLIFT GAMES DISCORD MODERATOR CODE OF CONDUCT

This Code of Conduct applies to all individuals signed up to the Uplift Games Discord Moderator Program. We reserve the right to update this Code of Conduct at any time, in our sole discretion. We will provide you notice of such an update via the email address you used to sign up to the Discord Moderator Program. Your continued participation in the Discord Moderator Program following receipt of this update will constitute your acceptance of such an update.

#Responsibilities of a Discord Moderator

As a moderator of our Adopt Me community Discord, your responsibilities will include:

• Building community togetherness and fostering an environment that people want to be a part of.
• Creating a safe environment for our players where they can connect and chat with others who love Adopt Me.
• Maintaining order and managing disruptions whilst following this Code of Conduct.
• Upholding the values of both Adopt Me and Uplift Games.

#Uphold Your Integrity

It is important to remember that while you have the Moderator or Admin tag, you represent Uplift Games to the community. Be kind, be considerate, and treat others the way you would expect to be treated.

• You should be polite and respectful to members of our community at all times. If a member of the community is disrespectful to you, you must not retaliate and instead use the commands that you have access to or inform another member of the moderation team.
• You should only log into your Discord account on your own devices and must ensure that no-one uses your account on your behalf.
• You should have 2FA enabled on your account. https://authy.com/guides/discord/
• Always speak to server moderators or the Discord community the way you would like to be spoken to. There is no space for offensive, problematic, or disruptive behavior in our community.
• Follow the server rules. Just because you are a moderator does not mean you are exempt from the rules!
• Always follow instructions or warnings from the Admin team or Uplift Games staff.
• Do not have "Allow direct messages" for the Adopt Me Discord turned on for moderation purposes. All moderation discussions should take place through our Ticket Bot, where communications can be monitored.
• Do not use your status as a moderator to influence other members, gain an advantage, or gain donations of any currency.

#Your posts are subject to review by Uplift Games

Uplift Games will periodically review materials and Discord interactions created by Discord Moderators. We will remind you about your obligations if you violate this Code of Conduct.

Violators may be removed from the Discord Moderator program at our sole discretion.
